| Helmut Lang Helmut Lang is considered the fashion pioneer of the 1990s. With his extreme minimalism, he had a trend-setting influence on the international scene and developed new media strategies. As the only institution worldwide, the MAK will receive the pre-mortem estate of Helmut Lang, the full body of documentation material (design drawings, look books, videos, advertisements) as well as a substantial selection of key works from the Helmut Lang Ready to Wear collections. This source material will provide the basis for the MAK’s Helmut Lang Special Archive. Scheduled project start date: 2011. > in progress |
