| Born 1952. Sculptor. Lives and works in Vienna. Manfred Wakolbinger is concerned with questions related to the three-dimensional realm. In his work Wakolbinger investigates his personal relationship with the physical world in an attempt to develop a sculptural vocabulary for communicating with it. A continual confrontation and reflection about the representational possibilities inherent to sculpture and the energy of elementary forms have inspired every stage of his work. |
