MAK Schools Program

The MAK Schools Program offers guided tours, workshops and—this is new!—the MAK School Service, customized by age groups and for all school types named below.
The MAK offers a diversified educational program for schools, customized by age groups from kindergarten (preschool) to senior grades. The program is continually broadened and expanded; the goal is to show schoolchildren—in a cross-curricular and interdisciplinary way— new approaches to art, to promote active dialogue about art, and to sensitize children to the interrelations of art, society, and individual experience. In addition, there is the possibility of using the MAK School Service as an independent educational program which provides teachers with all informational materials needed to visit, and find their way through, the museum with their classes on their own and without aid from museum staff members.
