Sponsoring

As an integral part of the MAK’s new vision, under director Christoph Thun-Hohenstein, the museum is exploring new ways of working with individuals, companies, and the corporate sector to support our program. Contributions are essential for the MAK to present the best exhibitions in the fields of the applied arts, contemporary art, architecture, and design—and to the important mission of acquisitions to strengthen and broaden the MAK Collection. Equally important is the conservation of the collections and the MAK’s impressive and historically important buildings.

Collaborating with, and contributing to, the MAK also helps us broaden our community and reach out to new and existing audiences. In return, the MAK offers a comprehensive range of individual and corporate benefits—that can be tailored to your interests.

Bringing together applied arts, design, architecture, and contemporary art is one of the museum’s core competencies, in light of which it becomes apparent just what contribution the interplay of these areas is capable of making to overall cultural development.
