On the occasion of the Weekend of Graphic Art, this year too the MAK is offering a comprehensive program that includes many workshops and special guided tours through current exhibitions, affording glimpses behind the scenes of the MAK Library and Works on Paper Collection. The focus will be on selected art works to include Martin Gerlach’s Allegorien and Biedermeier jewelry designs. Providing a link to contemporary jewelry design is the Austrian jewelry artist Margit Hart, who in her current book project puts contemporary jewelry design on stage through the medium of photography. The exhibition 100 BEST POSTERS 18: Germany Austria Switzerland shows us what creative forces are to be discovered in communication design, even in this digital age.
