Born 1929 in Toronto, Canada, Frank O. Gehry moved to Los Angeles with his family in 1947. His best-known work and simultaneously a milestone of architectural history, the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, celebrated its tenth anniversary on 15 October 2007.
