The MAK will reopen on 1 June 2020. For a trouble-free visit to the museum, we request that you comply with the following measures:
WEAR YOUR MASK
Mouth-nose protection (mnp) must be worn at all times when visiting the museum. If you have not brought a mnp with you, you can purchase one for € 3 at the MAK Ticket Desk.
KEEP YOUR DISTANCE
Keep at least 1 meter away from people who do not live in your household. We ask for your understanding that, due to the regulation requiring 10m² of floor space per visitor, waiting times may occur.
WASH YOUR HANDS
Wash your hands for at least 20 sec. and use our disinfectant dispensers.
Cough and sneeze into the crook of your elbow or a handkerchief and dispose of the latter immediately
VR INSTALLATIONS AND INTERACTIVE STATIONS NOT IN OPERATION
To avoid any risk of infection, our virtual reality installations and interactive stations will not be in operation until further notice.
USE OF SEATING FACILITIES
The sofas and all seating facilities in the MAK may be used only in compliance with the 1 meter distancing regulation or together with persons living in the same household.
We would also like to point out that, for the protection of all, we must deny access to the museum to persons showing symptoms such as fever, coughing, shortness of breath, and breathing difficulties.
