The connecting gate between the MAK and the University is permanently open during museum hours. Thus the sculptures Door to the Garden by Walter Pichler and the MAK Terrace Plateau by Peter Noever can henceforth be seen at close quarters—though as a spatial sculpture the Terrace Plateau itself will be out of bounds. The campaign and theme for the KUNSTRASEN were created by graphic designers Nora Delugan and Vitus Vogl-Fernheim within the framework of a cooperation with the Class for Ideas in Graphic Design & Advertising at the University of Applied Arts.
The garden is part of the MAK – Museum of Applied Arts.
Opening hours 2024: From 2.4. until end of October (depending on the weather):
Tue–Sun 10 am–6 pm
