Wiener Linien Day 2025

Free admission to the MAK and Fashion Party at the MAK Geymüllerschlössel with your Wiener Linien Annual Ticket

The Wiener Linien (Vienna public transportation) and the MAK would like to thank all holders of a Wiener Linien Annual Ticket for being active climate protectors and invite you to explore the exhibition WATER PRESSURE: Designing for the Future. Experience innovative solutions from design, architecture, art, and science for the global challenge of not only protecting the vital substance of water but also using it more sustainably and equitably in the long term. There is also a rare opportunity to see the world-famous ukiyo-e print The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Katsushika Hokusai.

Accessories and clothing swap by youngMAK*

Bring along your favorite items and swap them for new ones while enjoying good music and drinks. How does it work? The clothing items you bring along (summer and autumn clothing only) will be labeled with a personal tag and exchanged for a coupon that reflects the estimated value category of the item. This coupon can then be used to select a new vintage piece from the same category. It is important that the items you bring are in good condition to ensure a fair exchange.

11 am–6 pm
MAK Design Shop: Selected accessories on sale*
Find an exclusively curated selection of colorful accessories: jewelry, sunglasses, bags, and more. With a purchase of €20 or more, you will receive a free tote bag featuring Hokusai's The Great Wave. While supplies last.
