At the MAK Geymüllerschlössel, the exhibition
SIDEKICKS: Rings and Bags from the MAK Collection is on show. From medieval finger rings to design classics from the Wiener Werkstätte and contemporary luxury handbags, 111 highlights from the museum’s holdings are on display. In the garden, an accessories swap by (y)MAK, a meditative happening in the Skyspace
The Other Horizon (1998/2004) by US artist James Turrell, as well as a vintage market by Judith Bradl will take place.

Accessories and clothing swap by youngMAK*Bring along your favorite items and swap them for new ones while enjoying good music and drinks. How does it work? The clothing items you bring along (summer and autumn clothing only) will be labeled with a personal tag and exchanged for a coupon that reflects the estimated value category of the item. This coupon can then be used to select a new vintage piece from the same category. It is important that the items you bring are in good condition to ensure a fair exchange.

Meditative Happening**James Turrell’s Skyspace The Other HorizonAfter a guided tour with art educator Laura Pirgie, we invite you to join us for a shared mindful experience of James Turrell’s Skyspace
The Other Horizon. James Turrell is known for his innovative work with light. His focus is on the manipulation of natural and artificial light, creating immersive and meditative experiences. During the Meditative Happening, participants can experience the artwork and admire the play of light.
