MAK-it! WienerNachbarSchaf

With Alexandra Fruhstorfer

What does the flock of sheep next door have to do with me and my wardrobe?

A thought experiment following the principle of “Design Follows Resource” is the starting point for a co-creative Grätzl-planning workshop in the MAK Columned Main Hall. Together with designer Alexandra Fruhstorfer we envision what it would be like to live in synergy with a sheep and design a neighborhood in Vienna where the bleating source of our clothing also assumes its place.

How does the neighborhood change if we place the production of clothing and all resources needed for it in a hyper-local context? Let’s design urban structures between sustainability, radical prosuming, and commoning together!

The workshop series MAK-it! for adults offers the opportunity to try out a variety of craft skills and innovative techniques together with designers and creators. In the unique atmosphere of the MAK Columned Main Hall, you can create your own works of art.

Workshop Costs:
€ 30 (incl. admission)
€ 24 (MAK Annual Ticket, (young)MAK, MARS)
