The LEHM CLUB understands itself as a (work)space for experiments in clay. The emphasis is on individual, informal approaches to the material and its properties. We take you through the exhibition HARD/SOFT: Textiles and Ceramics in Contemporary Art and afterwards offer a workshop entitled Working with clay for beginners with the LEHM CLUB, originally initiated by Studio Sain and currently conducted by Stefanie Juch (archaeologist and restorer) and Vanessa Lindenau (visual  artist)—the whole thing taking place in the MAK Forum without a potter’s wheel in sight.
