In MAK Tailoring for Change, we will create our Anti-Fast-Fashion-Collection, design posters for the protest party, get involved with tree house architecture and build rebel models. We will occupy the MAK Columned Main Hall and do some silkscreen printing. We will also explore the surroundings of the MAK and search for real Vienna natural treasures, which we will then press into jewelry and create paper from. In the Young Designer Kitchen, we will also produce organic plastic from urban materials this summer.
The designer Basse Stittgen is coming to the MAK from Amsterdam especially for you. We will brunch in the Columned Main Hall, picnic in the MAK garden, bake our own pizza, and chill in the cool MAK Lounge (with good music of course!).
We are already very much looking forward to welcoming you!
