MAK Design Kids: Famous prototypes

Whether it's a lounge chair for cat women or a drinking cup for zombies - in this MAK Design Kids workshop, you will build “prototypes” for your very special customers together with the design duo Vandasye. What actually is good design and what should be considered when designing furniture, lighting or accessories? With Georg and Peter, founders of the Vandasye design studio, you will learn to understand many a product design and discover surprising things in familiar objects. In the end, your designs will be about the “Maximum Rizz” - wit, creativity and charisma - that makes your design something special.

THE FORMAT MAK DESIGN KIDS
Workshop for 8- to 12-year-olds (unaccompanied): In two-hour workshops, the MAK Design Kids turn their attention to furniture, fashion, patterns, and more while always keeping an eye on digital developments. The children will get to know design processes, develop their own ideas, try new techniques, or learn how to work with special materials. Every 1st Saturday of the month (except July, August, December).
