In cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology, the MAK FUTURE LAB invited to a panel discussion.
Softly, softly, they are tiptoeing into our lives. They work more efficiently than we; they entertain our children; they drive
cars more carefully than we; and they are better medical doctors. And we love them to do these things for us! For after all,
they are our creations: simply docile machines that make our lives easier. More efficient dish-washers, so to speak. Or is
there more to it than that?
Panel members: Jörg Leichtfried (Federal Minister for Transport, Innovation, and Technology), Paul Feigelfeld (Media Theorist), and Amelie
Klein (Curator, Vitra Design Museum). The discussion will be moderated by Christoph Thun-Hohenstein (General Director, MAK).
The event took place on the occasion of the VIENNA BIENNALE 2017: Robots. Work. Our Future (21 Jun – 1 Oct 2017).
