Learning from Corona

A participative exhibition within the framework of the MAK FUTURE LAB

Learning from Corona

Under the motto Learning from Corona, the MAK extends an invitation to open and individual participation in a new exhibition setting in the MAK FORUM: starting on 17 June, Learning from Corona will grow with the contributions of its visitors. They are invited to actively reflect on what can be learnt from the Corona pandemic experience and applied to the problems of the future—in particular as regards climate change—for crises such as the present one make a great many things much clearer.

We have all been challenged to break with familiar habits and alter our daily routines. Thus crises provide opportunities for change—opportunities that cannot and must not be ignored. What do we want to preserve, what radically change, what learn? After Corona, will we think differently about globalization, economic growth, and solidarity? What new demands can we make on our domestic and urban situations? What does Corona teach us about our education system, and how might our working lives be sustainably transformed?

Exhibition visitors will have an opportunity to explore these and other questions, to let themselves be inspired by new thinking, and above all to pass on their own ideas—learning from and for each other: Learning from Corona!
