At the JOSEPH BINDER AWARD presented in November 2020, the International Competition for Graphic Design & Illustration, the MAK LAB APP won gold in the screen design category.
The Progressive Web App, developed in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research and designed and programmed by LWZ and Huangart , offers a playful approach to questions about shaping the future in times of Digital Modernity and climate change.

Jury Statement:
Both playful and clear, this application stands out for its edgy style. It is full of information but still very easy to navigate, imaginative, cleverly done und cleverly designed. And: you need brain to start this app.
The Joseph Binder Award, organized by designaustria, is Austria's only international competition in the disciplines of graphic design & illustration. In July 2020, the international jury of the Joseph Binder Award 2020 met via online conference and shortlisted 60 projects out of a total of 1.029 entries. The winners of the trophies in gold, silver, and bronze will be announced via this Award Film.
