Wien Modern at the MAK 2024

Schedule

In cooperation with Wien Modern, the MAK extends an invitation to the Vienna premiere of the Swiss artist duo Cod.Act’s remarkable sound installations. The works of brothers André and Michel Décosterd, recipients of many international awards, are located on the interface between sculpture, architecture, performance, sound, and music and overwhelm audiences with their sheer presence. In the MAK Columned Main Hall and the MAK Forum, the sound sculptures πTon und πTon/2, created in 2017, unfold their autonomous choreography accompanied by a remarkable sound sequence. At the start of the project and as part of the official opening of the Vienna Modern Festival 2024, Cod.Act will be performing live on Wednesday, 30.10.2024 at 6.30 pm in the MAK Columned Main Hall. Following the opening performance, Cod.Act will be presenting four further performances in the MAK Columned Main Hall. These and all other Wien Modern dates at the MAK can be found here.
