In this special workshop, we invite you to try out the newly developed MAK Toolkit for artist books and help us take it further. Here, we’ll fold, think, discard, reinvent, and ask questions. What can a book be? Does it have to have pages? Can it change—or even tell stories without words?

In this workshop, you’re not just a participant, but also an expert: You’ll test the toolkit, try it out, and help us develop it further with your ideas. Together, we’ll playfully explore what it means to be a book artist, while also providing valuable inspiration to the MAK.
