The objective of the exhibition is to put up for discussion the question of the status of ceramics as an independent art form, by presenting works that exemplify selected contemporary positions in Austrian ceramics outside of the craft industry. Is ceramics capable of defining the boundaries between art, crafts and design?

Works by Wilfried Gerstel, Gideon Koval, Irmgard Schaumberger, Thomas Stimm and Gerold Tusch will be on show.
