Fashion reacts directly to the zeitgeist - so does textile design. Textiles today are more than just necessary covering, they are a means of communication since what a person wears on their body expresses their attitude to society. The exhibition "Fabrics," worked out as a cooperation between the MAK and the University of Art in Linz, presents selected, contemporary textile design. What will be shown are the material creations designed by Linz students studying textile/ art & design for the international design fair "Indigo" in Paris.
