The iconic Schindler House itself, built 100 years ago, is the focus of this exhibition. Contemporary artists and architects develop interventions that incorporate the visitors’ perceptions of the building and display works that interact with Schindler House and its history. It also explores the extent to which Schindler’s interpretation of home and studio, of indoor-outdoor life and his experimental use of materials could provide inspira-tion for a post-pandemic California.
