MAK-it! Bringing Infrastructure to Life with Artist Felix Lenz

During the workshop, participants will use former technical equipment and materials from the MAK to create so-called very-low-frequency (VLF) antennas. These instruments make the imperceptible electromagnetic waves emitted by surrounding technological infrastructure audible and tangible. The MAK halls and exhibition spaces will thus be explored in a playful and sensory-auditory manner. Felix Lenz offers insights into the methods and processes of his artistic work, as currently on view in Soft Image, Brittle Grounds at the MAK Gallery.

No prior technical knowledge is required to participate.
