In this workshop, things get truly glittery — we dive into the sparkling world of Christmas ornaments from Gablonz! What makes these little shimmering treasures so special? How were they made in the past, and what can we create from them today?

Together, we’ll explore the exhibition BICYCLE & HUMMER. Sparkling Tree Decorations From Gablonz, discovering quirky shapes, vibrant colors, and fascinating stories surrounding the famous Gablonz ornaments. Then it’s time to get creative: with a bit of imagination and dexterity, we’ll design our own dazzling works of art. We’ll even be joined by a real glass bead expert, who will demonstrate live at the glassmaker’s bench how these beads are made.
