MAK Design Kids: Lucky Charms

This workshop is all about luck and lucky charms: we’ll explore the exhibition BICYCLE & LOBSTER. Sparkling Tree Decorations From Gablonz together and discover amusing stories about good-luck figures—from chimney sweeps to little lucky pigs. Afterwards, we’ll become the makers of our own luck: with a bit of imagination and careful handiwork, we’ll create our own funky figures to bring us good fortune in 2026. One thing’s certain: the joy of creating makes you happy!

THE FORMAT MAK DESIGN KIDS
Workshop for 8- to 12-year-olds (unaccompanied): In two-hour workshops, the MAK Design Kids turn their attention to furniture, fashion, patterns, and more while always keeping an eye on digital developments. The children will get to know design processes, develop their own ideas, try new techniques, or learn how to work with special materials. Every 1st Saturday of the month (except July, August, December).
