The Vienna World Exhibition, kimonos and graphic pictorial narratives

This MAKplus will focus on the Asian exhibitions at the MAK. After a guided tour through our Permanent Collection Asia and the exhibition PATTERNS OF MODERNITY. Meisen Kimonos from the MAK Collection - Donation Friis we will go to the exhibition GIRL MEETS MANGA. A Manga Biography from Tokyo (1985-1992), where curator Mio Wakita-Elis provides insights into this very personal exhibition.
