Graphic design and exhibition design: “Class for Ideas” in Communication Design
Discussion moderator:
Harald Gründl Designer, design theorist, and curator. He heads the Regenerative Design Lab at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, is co-chair of the Institute of Design Research Vienna, and a partner at EOOS Design.
Ingmar Thies Sven Ingmar Thies founded Thies Design 24 years ago, has been teaching at the University of Applied Arts Vienna for over 12 years, and is the author of the book “Teaching Graphic Design.” In London, he spent a year learning to work in a structured and efficient manner within hierarchies; in Tokyo, he spent two and a half years learning to communicate with few words; and he always enjoys listening. In his opinion, communication and design require precise language and clear feedback.
