GLOBAL WARMING. What can we do as individuals?
Students from the University of Applied Arts Vienna and the University of Seoul take a stand on the climate crisis in a joint project that calls for collective creative action.

In developing their work, the students defined individual questions around the issue of global warming. Based on their in-depth research, they collaborated on three-dimensional models that provided space for creative exchange and opened up new perspectives on their initial ideas.

The posters displayed here are the outcome of this design process, which also allowed the participants to develop a mutual understanding of social and cultural differences through creative dialogue.

By showcasing these unconventional approaches, the exhibition aims to expand this shared space of thought and inspire us to address the climate crisis together through innovative strategies. The 35 posters created by the students are exhibited simultaneously in Seoul and Vienna.

On the exhibition:
  • Sven Ingmar Thies, Senior Artist/Lecturer in the ‘Class for Ideas’ in Communication Design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna
  • Jin Hong Rim, Director of the Korean Cultural Center Austria
