The MAK is dedicating a presentation in the MAK Forum to the ceramic artist Renate Fuhry (* 1938, Witten, Germany), who has lived and worked in Austria since 1960.
29.1.2025—11.5.2025
MAK Forum
On show are works from the Collection of the MAK, where she was already present in exhibitions in the 1960s and 1980s. Pieces she owns privately are also on display. Fuhry taught for more than 40 years at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts and was deeply embedded in the Viennese art scene. Fuhry’s works helped shape Austrian ceramics. Also on view in the MAK Forum for the first time are pieces from the artist’s late work: bowls created after 2010.
