Fancy upgrading and decorating an old item of clothing together in the MAK Columned Main Hall? Visible Mending makes the artistic repair of clothing visible and is a slow fashion statement. Together with artist and art teacher Christina Dörfler and students from Herbststraße, you can embroider patches using the sashiko technique, for example, or try out decorative stitches to repair pieces you have brought with you. To kick things off, the pupils will present an Anti Fast Fashion Collection on stage, which was created in a co-creative project with the MAK.
