My Ullmann works for the theater for the first time in 1928, when she designs the stage set for an amateur production of Regina Orientis in Vienna. A commission to design costumes for a performance of The Prodigal Son in Lucerne once again brings her back to the theater, where her innovative costume designs opens up new fields of activity to her.
